NYC food scene, circa '35...

Isn't that menu fascinating?
There are vegetarian options there.
Curried lamb, I guess folks were eating lamb curry enough to put in on a menu?

What gets me is that section top left.
It's the spendy area.
Right up there, some of the most expensive menu features - pigs head and pig knuckles.


That hasn't quite made it's way into the farm to table fashion yet, has it?
Not so much...
