I assume that the hot one is some reference to Gene Romero's shoe or his ability to win races.

Not some bid for the repressed homosexual motorcycle consumer market.
Though he did ride for Triumph, and Triumph guys can be a little swishy.








Note the cool fade paint on the tank...and the big #1 plate.

Anybody can get some cool paint, but it takes some work to get that number plate.
