Specials
One of my homies recently made mention of how he was bummed my Model T went down the road...
I sorta concur, but at the same time I am cool with it. I learned a lot dicking with that pile of parts, really.
Even as I was putting it together, I sorta knew there was something that I was missing or, maybe, not getting right.
Not that there was some mechanical or engineering flaw, just some other aspect of the car that wasn't quite what I wanted it to be.
There was a lingering thought that that T was maybe too hot-rod and not enough sports-car. Thoughts about odd fender combinations, that sorta stuff.
I have always had an affinity for Lotus Super 7 style beasts, and in retrospect, that was the part I never quite sorted into the building of that T.
Coming across cars like this one only reinforce my ideas about putting together some fashion of sporty something-or-other.
Sure, it doesn't really fit in any rule books for either fashion or race action these days. It is sorta what I would be doing/redoing with that last T, if it was still around.
It's not though, and I don't think I am done with Model T's, just letting myself ponder a bit, so the next one it more what is rattling in my own head and less my interpretation of what has come from other folks hands.
I have some ideas...

Broad Street Bullies
I had sorta given up on hockey season, really.
Turns out there is a hockey season, this season. Huh...
One of the few sports I get down with watching on television, though not regularly. It has to be something worth tuning in/out for. The big game kinda game...
I didn't realize the Flyers/Penguins were going at it tomorrow.
That is some serious bad blood feudin' kinda shit right there...
This may require some afternoon hockey watching.

Working On It
Yeah, I am still planning on taking over the world, I have just had some other stuff going on...
Still using the facilities in Philly for sorta an eastern operations center. Doing most of my work, here, out of an old ICBM submarine I got from a rather suspect Russian dude.
It was used and kinda smells like dead fish inside, buy the price was right. I thought it made sense with all the coastline here and all...
The missile launch capabilities come in handy for getting to the moon base, where I have been spending most evenings. I have been working on a new idea for a cold fusion death ray thingy, and the quiet up on the moon makes it easier to concentrate.
Those are some working notes, in the pic. There is some bullshit mixed in and some crucial stuff not included in the picture, because it is top secret shit. So, don't go off blabbering about your cool friend, who is working on a cold fusion death ray on the moon, to everybody you know. Just keep this between you and me, OK?
Anyway, the rest of it is still all baboonbots and maniacal scheming. My standard kinda shit.
I was really counting on all that Mayan end of days crap to come together, so I had eased up on my efforts figuring there really wasn't much point.
Pfft...

Cool Van
Sure, those 70's vans with the bubble windows and crazy murals are neato and all...
But this is the sort of van that genuinely appeals to me. That is one rugged bit of van action right there.
Of course yellow is an awful color for it. A nondescript work-van white might be more my style.
I guess the era of the mobile stabbin' cabin is quickly coming to an end. Ford has stopped making this sorta rig, I don't really know about the GM version but haven't seen one for a year or so. Minivans seemed to have been replaced by the awful crossover-SUV cars. Those goofy transit truck things seem to be the new vans.
