Eighties IMSA racing was the shit.
I spent a lot of weekends at the track, back then. My mom recognized that I maybe liked that as much as any outdoor activity, so I was watching cars go in circles on the regular...
During this wide, flat fender flare era.
It was awesome.
I don't really have any affinity for Mustangs, except for maybe these things.
They are outrageous, obnoxious and were intoxicating to my still adolescent mind.
I wonder how many of these are lingering under tarps, in the back corners of shops or garages...
