Nudity
Given the recent Blogger hubbub about goofy content rules, or no rules, I wanted to post up a full on nudie pic...
Because what is the internet without a bit of porn?

Mayor McCheese Monday
I am not going to touch on the McDonald's-Good/Bad thing at all, really...
But what the fuck was going on with Mayor McCheese?
He was the elected leader of McDonaldland, I presume.
He was mayor, not duke or king...
Mayor suggests choice, the chosen representative.
And his head was a motherfucking cheeseburger...
His head was a cheeseburger.
Seriously?

Work Pants
Yeah, this will get stuck in your head...
You will be out and about.
You will spot that woman in the yoga pants.
This song will drop in your head.
It'll make you smile to yourself.
She will spot you gawking and smiling.
You will be considered a perv.

Transmission
Cabin fever here.
You might have guessed that by the increased post counts...
Also on a Joy Division thing.
We have had the most lovely powder snow here, over the past few days.
(Maybe another five or six inches, not enough to make the national news.)
Passing through it might be like walking though clouds of soft, downy feathers...
If I didn't know it was miserable fucking snow, which needed to be shoveled.

Dude
Another winter storm deal here...
So, look at this picture of Jeffery Dahmer loading his enormous snow bong.
Winter does weird shit to your mind, man...

Build One
Want the unobtanium one?
Why not just build it?
There are a number of conversations that come to mind watching this.
I will skip rolling them out here...
Maybe just focus on the idea that there are three dudes turning dreams out of a shed in New Zealand.

Transit
Strange how a picture can work the mind.
I saw this and immediately knew the spot.
Recognizing not just the location, but the direction of view, the approximate time of day, all that...
Now all just the abstractions of memory, that time and place I used to know is something else now.
As I am another person today, than I was there.
Then...
Which sets of this whole train of thought about selfhood, communication, time, the sense of presence and present.
Pukak
It is said that Eskimos have a bunch of words for snow.
We've all heard that story, I guess there is some debate about it which has nothing to do with the point I am about to make...
I feel like I could use fifty words for snow, lately.
The subject of snow seems to come up all the time.
At the store, ordering a beer, emails for work.
Always some variation of "It sure is cold, how 'bout that snow..."
I mention this because we're in the midst of another big winter storm.
So, it's snowing.
It is a fine dry snow, that swirls like waves in the wind.
I will call it fugkitsuks.

MiniMog
I don't spend a lot of time pondering a replacement for my truck...
It's still a runner and does all of the truck stuff I need it to do.
It is not overly giant, which seems to be the only option with new trucks.
Living in urban areas most of my adult life, I don't see the point of trucks measured by tonnage...
This, though.
This makes me pause...
That bed height is dumb, but not anymore than the waist high tailgate on my current rig.
And there is a diesel spec?
Now, if only it was a real thing and available in the states...

Groundhogs
Punxsatawney Phil.
Buckeye Chuck.
Shipoke Sheena.
Staten Island Chuck.
It seems like there are a lot more groundhogs getting into the weather prediction business than I was aware of...
I guess there are weather groundhogs in Alabama and Connecticut, too?
Probably more still, that I haven't heard of.
Questioning the accuracy of this reporting methodology...
Seems pretty damned wintry, here, today.
(Looks like another foot of snow with this storm, if you were wondering.)
