Formula 5000 Friday

My little sister got me a Formula 5000 pin, some time ago...

There was it and a little plastic race car in a plastic bag, from some vintage store, out somewhere...

Anyway, it is right here next to my computer.  I look at it all the time, but never thought about the race series.
