B-17's and the 95th Bomb Group

So this link came my way through one of the hotrod message boards I look at on a regular basis.

There was so much response to my trip to see one of these old girls that I thought I should share.

There are all manner of clippings, snapshots and bits of history - if you care about this sorta thing it is worth looking through. Pictures of the planes, the crews and nose paint.

Entirely worth the time.

Not many of these gals left and the men that had the chonies to put them to work are going, too...
